Station 5 ‘In the Kurpark’

Great, you've made it this far! And you've discovered me, even though I look a bit different here. You're in the ‘Kurpark’, as the big people call it. Here you can play mini golf, buy delicious things at the kiosk, watch tennis or play on the big dream playground if you go a little further. Lots of people go for walks here...pah, that would be too boring for me...

But sometimes, there are also festivals here. You probably know the big witches' festival, which is also celebrated in Bad Lauterberg. On Walpurgis, the witches and devils are out and about in the spa gardens before they fly to the Brocken or the witches' dance floor in Thale at night. We dwarves meet at a different time, but I won't tell you when... Once a year, all the dwarves from the surrounding area come here and hold a meeting... first we talk, then we sit in a circle on little stools - we report on how we and the forest dwellers are doing and think about what we can do for each other. And afterwards we celebrate... how? Well, the dwarf way... there's a big fire and delicious treats, such as forest foam soup or mushroom ragout, and we have woodruff fizz to drink...I love that! We dance around the fire and sing our dwarf songs... Maybe you are out in the forest at night with your family and hear noises - that could be us dwarves... Would you like to celebrate with us?
