LauterZwerge am Berge - a dwarf trail
Discover the world of Friedel, the Harz dwarf!
Embark on an adventure along the dwarf trail in Bad Lauterberg and immerse yourself in the magical world of the ‘LauterZwerge’. Meet Friedel - a curious little guardian of the forest who guards gemstones, bathes in the Oder in the moonlight and whizzes through the lake on the back of his friend Kuno the carp.
Discover hidden dwarf houses, listen to the sounds of the forest, find glittering stones and experience how Friedel and his friends protect nature. Who knows, maybe you'll meet Friedel himself - if you believe it! A magical experience for children and families who want to explore the Harz Mountains.
Come along and be enchanted by the mysterious world of the dwarves at the following six stations:
- ‘Scholmwehr Bridge’
- ‘The dwarf bath’
- ‘The tunnel’
- ‘The dwarf houses’
- ‘In the spa gardens’
- ‘A rainy day’ and ’Farewell’
The ‘LauterZwerge’ dwarf trail is the brainchild of Monika Haase, Sandra Kemmling and Nadine Fröhlich. The dwarf stories of ‘Friedel - a Harz dwarf’ were written by S. Seyferth. The trail was realised on the initiative of MTV Bad Lauterberg in cooperation with the town marketing department and the Kinderschutzbund OV Bad Lauterberg.
Our special thanks go to: Jan Fritzowsky who lovingly set the stories to music and thus breathed life into Friedel.
